The Calaveras County Resource Conservation District is pleased to announce the first annual Firewise Calaveras Festival coming Saturday, November 1st, 2025. Join us anytime from 11am-3pm at the Calaveras County Fairgrounds, 2465 Gunclub Rd, Angels Camp. This free, family friendly event focuses on wildfire preparedness and strengthening community fire resilience.  You also will meet several Firewise Teams to find out how you can join or form a Firewise Team in your neighborhood.

• Admission: FREE for all attendees 

Attendees will experience demonstrations, interactive exhibits and informational tables offering wildfire defense strategies, insurance resources and preventative tips for home/property defense. The Firewise Calaveras Festival will also feature food vendors and fun activities for kids.
